Vivica A. Fox is warning women to stay away from rappers when it comes to dating.

During the Ultimate Women's Expo in Edison, New Jersey, Fox delivered a piece of blunt advice when asked by an audience member about pursuing their dreams.

“Don’t date 50 Cent, don’t date no damn rappers,” Fox said as the crowd erupted in laughter and cheers.

“Facts!" the actress added. "Just so you know, it took me years to be able to laugh about it. I had to learn to laugh not to cry no more, but I did it.”

Fox and 50 Cent briefly dated in 2003 after meeting at the BET Awards. The two walked the red carpet together at the 2003 MTV VMAs before their months-long relationship ended. Fox later appeared in 50's 2009 music video for “Do You Think About Me." The pair have since traded jabs in interviews and online.

In true form, 50 Cent responded to Fox's comment, which went viral on social media. The rapper shared a photo of himself in Matrix-style leather, holding red and blue pills, with the caption: “Either way I’m a have that a** in the matrix, you know I love me some you girl, but Damn it’s been 22 years Vivica.🤷‍♂️ @50centaction.”
