A grand jury has indicted a viral TikTok star on first-degree murder charges.

According to WAFB, Terryon Thomas, known as "Mr. Prada" on TikTok, was indicted by a grand jury on Thursday (January 16) in the September murder of Baton Rouge therapist Dr. Nick Abraham. Thomas is facing charges of first-degree murder, obstruction of justice, aggravated criminal damage to property, and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

Thomas' indictment comes after Abraham's body was found wrapped in a tarp on the side of a highway.

Police initially shared photos of a "person of interest" who social media users quickly identified as Mr. Prada, who has over 4.3 million followers on TikTok. The viral TikToker has racked up over 500 million likes on his comedic skits.

According to police, Thomas was the last known person inside Abraham's car. The day after the therapist's murder, Thomas evaded a traffic stop, sped away, and crashed his vehicle, police said. He fled on foot and was later apprehended in Dallas, Texas.

Investigators allege Abraham's murder unfolded inside Thomas' apartment in Baton Rouge, where the East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Department said the therapist was last seen alive. After searching Thomas' apartment, authorities found several sharp objects, weapons, and large amounts of Abraham's blood.

Thomas is currently in jail without bond.
