NFL Hall of Famer Randy Moss has revealed that he's battling an ongoing "internal" health issue.

During "Sunday NFL Countdown," Moss, a longtime NFL wide receiver turned ESPN football analyst, said he's facing an undisclosed illness and urged "all you men" to "get your blood work done and we'll work through it."

"I'm battling something man and it's something internal, your boy is going to get through it," Moss said in an Instagram post. "I got a great team of doctors and got a great family around me."

"I just ask for all the prayer warriors ... to put their blessing hands on me and my family through these hard times," he added.

Moss played 14 seasons in the NFL for the Minnesota Vikings, Oakland Raiders, New England Patriots, Tennessee Titans, and San Francisco 49ers. During his time in the league, Moss made 156 touchdown catches, the second most in NFL history. Moss also recorded 15,292 receiving yards, the fourth all-time.

The wide receiver was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2018.

During Sunday's (December 1) broadcast of "Countdown," Moss put on a pair of sunglasses after revealing his illness, saying he's wearing them due to his health issue and not for fashion.
