A newly unveiled statue of Miami Heat legend Dwyane Wade is going viral for its "horrible execution."

On Sunday (October 27), the Miami Heat unveiled a new statue of Wade, who led the franchise to three NBA championships, outside the Kaseya Center arena.

The statue intended to depict the iconic moment when Wade shouted "This is my house!" after making a game-winning shot in double overtime during a matchup against the Chicago Bulls in March 2009.

However, social media users roasted the statue, saying it looked nothing like the franchise great.

"Shame on whoever greenlit this—it doesn’t even look like Dwyane Wade. Y’all could’ve done better. This looks like a statue straight off Temu," one X, formerly Twitter, user tweeted.

"Miami Heat did Dwyane Wade dirty," another X user wrote.

Wade and his family attended Sunday's unveiling of his Heat statue. Social media users claimed that even the basketball star appeared to be disappointed with how the statue turned out.

"I can feel his disappointment through the screen," one person tweeted alongside a video of Wade viewing his statue.

Social media users also clipped a portion of Wade's speech at the unveiling, where he said “That’s crazy. I can’t believe it… Who is that guy?”
