A Carolina Panthers legend is expanding his star power to a new industry with a new sports bar venture in Charlotte. Thomas Davis, who spent most of his 16-year NFL career with the Panthers, is gearing up to open Ten58 Sports Bar and Lounge, his new sports bar located in the building that formerly housed Taproom Social, per WCNC.

Named for Davis' numbers at the University of Georgia and the Panthers — 10 and 58, respectively — the bar will hold its grand opening on Thursday (November 17) from 6-11 p.m. Patrons will even have a chance to win something special at the grand opening as the first 20 people will get a gift autographed by Davis, according to a post on the bar's Instagram page.

With an owner like a Davis, a fan-favorite and a legend with the Panthers, they know how important a good sports bar can be to fans hoping to catch their favorite team playing on TV while enjoying a bite to eat and cold brew.

"There is nothing better than having somewhere in the city to watch a game, enjoy good food, and have a great time," another Instagram post states. "Ten58 Sports Bar and Lounge will be THAT PLACE! A truly welcoming bar and lounge in the heart of uptown Charlotte, where you are guaranteed to make lasting memories with friends and family."

Ten58 is located at 430 West Fourth Street across from Truist Field. Learn more about the bar at its website.
