Rooting For Everybody Black: Your Complete Guide To The 2021 Oscars

Delayed by the unpredictable nature of the COVID-19 pandemic, the 93rd Academy Awards are set to take place in person at the Dolby Theater on April 25. This year, there were a number of important names left off of the nominations list. From Regina King to Delroy Lindo, there was an uproar when films like Da 5 Bloods and One Night In Miami were underrepresented within the prestigious award show. Despite the absence of several great films, those who were selected were well deserving. In the wake of his untimely passing, Chadwick Boseman earned his first nomination. Joining him Daniel Kaluuya and Lakeith Stanfield were recognized for their undeniable performances in Judas and the Black Messiah. Not to mention, Andra Day stole the show in her Billie Holiday biopic and earned herself a nomination as well. To get better prepared with the full slate of Black creatives nominated for Oscars this year, here's a complete of all the Black nominees at this year's award show.
