Trae The Truth Supplies Food For Those Struggling During Texas Snowstorm

As snowstorms continue to impact millions of Americans across the country, many are offering a helping hand to those in Texas. Over the last week, temperatures in the state of Texas have dipped below freezing and more snow than one would ever imagine in the state of Texas covers the streets. Making matters worse, thousands suffered in the cold without heat or power. As a result, some have died and some have been left starving or without shelter. In an effort to help those that he can, Trae Truth has taken to the streets of Houston to offer a helping hand.

Earlier this week, Trae The Truth was spotted in a local Jack In The Box restaurant buying food and giving it to those in need. The Houston rapper and philanthropist posted a video of himself in the restaurant as the food was being prepared.

"Salute To Jack In The Box on South Main for letting us buy food for those in need. If You Or your restaurant have food we can buy, please let us know. [There are] a lot of hungry people out here," he wrote.

Over the last few days, he and his nonprofit organization, Relief Gang, have moved around the greater Houston area distributing water, food and other supplies. This is far from the first time Trae The Truth has offered a helping hand to those around Houston. In the past, he's offered assistance to victims of Hurricane Harvey, paid for graduating seniors' caps and gowns and donated $10,000 for holiday shopping sprees, Most recently, he raised $30,000 for the family of Vanessa Guillen, a soldier at Fort Hood that was killed last year.
